Awesome guide. I’ve built almost all of it, but for some reason both the X and Y controls are controlling the top piece and while the bottom piece has torque (not easy to move when powered), nothing seems to control it… it just stays put. When un‐powered, both arms move freely, so it does not appear to be a mechanical problem. Any theories about what could be causing both X and Y controls to move the top arm?

I’ve discovered X and Y are not the individual axis motions. It is actually moving the two arms in a way to model the X and Y coordinates of a cartesian plane. That doesn’t really make sense when Home X and Home Y refer to the separate axis’s… but I’m just glad the board appears to be working correctly.

Also, I’ve discovered that the website says to use 27 for the stepPin of axis 1. If you are using the PCB as ordered from EDA, the pin should be 33: nothing is connected to 27.

Now… to fix the Homing string, because its not working correctly at all, lol.
